Dr. Jacquelyn Curry Oliphant has 25+ years of extraordinary experience as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and a Certified School Psychologist.  She has practiced extensively in the states of Michigan, Texas and Georgia and is a Fully Licensed Psychologist in Michigan, as well as holds a Michigan Certificate in School Psychology.  Additionally, Dr. Oliphant is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist.

As a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Oliphant’s extensive background encompasses a psychological practice that uses eclectic insight-oriented modalities that assist in alleviating symptoms associated with Depression, Anxiety, Grief/Loss, Personality Disorders and Bipolar Disorders in children, adolescents and adults.  She also specializes in Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Workplace/Stress Problems and Female/Minority Issues.

Additionally Dr. Oliphant is a Psychologist that has acquired an expert, professional ability to conduct Psychological Evaluations and Independent Educational Evaluations (I.E.E.’s) for second-opinions of student capabilities when Special Education Services are being considered by their local school districts.  These services are available to families who want an unbiased assessment of their child’s strengths and weaknesses prior to placement in a Special Education Environment.  These neutral, impartial services are also available for children currently receiving Special Education Services. Dr. Oliphant has an exemplary rate of providing psychological evaluations that support self-determining educational services for all children in grades K through 12.  Moreover, Dr. Oliphant is available to assist families with advocacy expertise in all matters governing children in General and Special Education.

Currently, Dr. Oliphant has a private practice strategically located in the heart of Birmingham, Michigan in the Adams Square Building, which anchors the Adams Square Mall.  This complex is commuter-friendly, safe and handicapped-accessible with entrance ramps, an elevator and extensive free parking.
